I wish to say something about Samsung Galaxy Star before getting into the tutorial. Samsung Galaxy Star is an entry level smartphone that have Android 4.1.2 , 1GHz CPU , 512MB RAM, a 2MP cam, 3-inch touchscreen display and 1200 mAh Battery. It have 3G, WiFi and Blutooth for connectivity.
So, We can start rooting your Samsung Galaxy Star…!!!

>Before Rooting

1) Note that, The Rooting process of Samsung Galaxy Star is risky and it will  also remove warrenty of your smart phone.

>Start Rooting your Samsung Galaxy Star

Step 1: Extract the Cydia Impactor files.

Step 2: Download and Install Universal ADB Driver on your PC.
Step 3: Connect your Samsung Galaxy Star to your PC by using USB Cables. (Enable USB Debugging on your phone.  To do this, go to Settings > Development and tick the USB Debugging checkbox )
Step 4: Open the Impactor.exe file from the extracted Cydia Imapactor.
2Step 5: Change # drop SuperSU su to /system/xbin/su to puch supersu su binary to /system/xbin .
Step 6: Click on Start button and wait for few minutes.
Step 7: Now your Samsung Galaxy Star is successfully rooted. (To verify root access, download “Root Checker Lite” app from the Play Store)
